Dr. Michelle Garrett of Central ENT/Central Audiology in Hagerstown, MD, was among leading hearing health care professionals from across the U.S. invited to attend the Oticon Clinical Grand Rounds Conference in Scottsdale, Arizona.  The three-day conference focused on improving patient care in multi-disciplinary practices such as hospitals and ENT Clinics that offer patiens coordinated care and seamless access to hearing care specialists.

Conference participants discussed ways to ensure a sucessful journey for the patient through the clinical experience, looking at a number of key factors including prvious experience with hearing instruments, stage of readiness and socialand employment considerations.  Participants also explored the newest research and techniques to strengthen interpersonal relationships between the patient and all members of the clinical staff - from practitioner to front desk administrators.
